"I have had over 30 years’ experience supporting adults, including those living with disabilities, who have mental health vulnerabilities that have arisen out of overwhelming and traumatic life events."

These challenges can show up in many different ways. You might experience mood swings, find yourself reacting quickly to situations or people around you, feeling irritable or constantly on edge, or perhaps always feeling super alert and, at times, just plain exhausted—both physically and mentally.

You may find yourself reliving difficult situations or events, with racing thoughts that tend to spiral into a negative place, worrying about the future, or struggling with day-to-day activities. Avoiding certain situations or people that cause distress might also be creating barriers for you. Or maybe it’s a sense that something just doesn’t feel right—your sleep might be disrupted, concentration might be tough, and physical symptoms like headaches, stomach pain, or muscle tightness may be wearing you down.

My approach is to help you manage how these challenges show up in your life, so that you can build resilience and move towards a better quality of life. I believe that with the right support, you can find ways to manage these feelings and focus on what matters most to you—whether that’s building stronger relationships, participating more fully in your community, or feeling more in control of your life.

Over the years, I’ve developed a flexible approach to therapy, drawing from various methods and tailoring them to fit each person’s needs, including those who are navigating life with a disability. My experience comes from working as a Clinical Director, Senior Psychologist, and in private practice, helping thousands of clients find their way forward.
